Happy Wonderful Wednesday!
Inquiry into Language: Today we read chapters 15,16 and 17 of our novel study ‘Charlie and The Chocolate Factory’. Students then answered comprehension questions based on what they read.
Gym: Please see Ms. V’s blog at https://msvphysed.blogspot.com

Math: Today in math we learned about the skeletons of 3-D shapes. We learned that the skeletons are the bones of 3-D shapes. Students were given the opportunity to build their own 3-D models. They started off building a square based pyramid and then moved on to different shapes such as cube, triangular based pyramid and triangular prism. We talked about the toothpicks being the edges and the marshmallows being the vertices.

Music: Please see Mrs. McMillian’s blog at http://mrsmcmillanmusic.blogspot.com

Agenda:
1. Read 15 minutes

3. Spelling test Friday
4. Trip form and money
5. Re-registration package overdue

Unit of Inquiry: Today students continued to learn about the inventors ‘The Wright Brothers’ and the invention of the airplane. We watched a video of the changes and adaptations the plane has gone through over the years. Then students worked through different activities where they had to sort true and false statements, create a research bubble and create a timeline of the events in the Wright Brothers life.
Have a wonderful evening,

Love, Miss Gandy
