Happy Wacky Wednesday!
We are quite the wacky bunch today!

House Games: We started the morning with a few house games! One game students and teacher participated in a wacky walking race. The next game involved gathering as many cotton balls into a bowl using Vaseline on the tip of our nose!

Gym: Please see Ms. V’s blog at https://msvphysed.blogspot.com

Math: Today we reviewed representing a double-digit number in place value mat. Then we learned how to use a place value mat when adding double-digit numbers. Children then used base ten concepts and place value mats to solve addition problems. They also needed to create their own addition story problem

Inquiry into Language: Today we read the final chapter of novel study ‘Charlie and The Chocolate Factory’. Then students answered comprehension questions about what we read. We shared with the class our favourite part of this book and supported our reasoning with answering why. We also discussed how Charlie’s character changed from the beginning of the book to the end of the book.
Music: Please see Mrs. McMillian's blog at http://mrsmcmillanmusic.blogspot.com

French: Please see Mlle. Jessica’s blog at http://mllehousja.blogspot.com
