Happy Tremendous Thursday!
Inquiry into Language:  Today we read chapters 4,5 and 6 of our novel study 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'. Students then answered comprehension questions about what they read. After we were finished we used reflection cubes to help us retell what has happened in the story, identify the characters we have been introduced to so far and make predictions about what we think will happen in the upcoming chapters and why?

Gym: Please see Ms. V’s blog at https://msvphysed.blogspot.com

Math: Today students wrote their pre-assessment for our next unit, Data Management and Probability. Please note that this assessment is just to tell the teachers students prior knowledge and understanding of the content and areas we need to focus on throughout the unit.
Music: Please see Mrs. McMillian’s blog at http://mrsmcmillanmusic.blogspot.com

French: Please see Mlle. Jessica’s blog at http://mllehousja.blogspot.com

Agenda:
1. Read 15 minutes
2. Work on book retell
3. Bring back re-registration package
4. Spelling test tomorrow
5. Selling sentences due tomorrow

Unit of Inquiry:  Today students picked their group for our upcoming market next week. We were able to pick either the vegetables, fruits, snacks or drinks group. I will be sending home an email tomorrow about the breakdown of the groups. Tomorrow each group will make a grocery list together and each member of the group will pick to things from that list that they are responsible for bringing in next week.

Have a wonderful evening,

Love, Miss Gandy
