Dear SJA Families,
We hope everyone will have a wonderful holiday break! Our Junior Kindergarten (JK) Registration season is fast approaching and we wanted to reach out to all of our families and friends to ensure that you are offered priority enrolment in our JK Program for the 2020-2021 academic year. Please let us know if you are interested in enrolling your child in our JK Program by Friday, January 10, 2020 at 4:00 pm. After this date and time, the spots will open up to new families on the waitlists.

Happy Terrific Thursday
(Last Day!)
Today we found Sparkles hanging in the tree! We have loved coming in every day and finding out where Sparkles was. She was a great addition to our classroom for the month! Till next time.

** A note about the homework package sent home today. I have sent home a math package and the annual book retell package inside agendas today. The math package is optional if children have time and want to work on something over the holidays. The book retell is required to be completed upon return when students come back from break, as the completion will be fast approaching. Any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Today we had an assembly where we handed out the communicator awards, sang happy birthday to all our December babies, awarded Karate belts and played a Christmas house game. Congratulations to our class winner Elijah! We are very proud of you!

Unit of Inquiry: Today we finished our wreaths to send home as a gift to our parents!
Christmas activities: Today we made Christmas cards and watched a Christmas movie. We shared with the class some candy canes and gifts students brought in for each other!

I just wanted to send a big thank- you to everyone. I am so appreciative of the thoughtful gifts and well wishes sent my way. I am very lucky to have the best children to teach everyday and I will truly miss them during this break. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Please have a safe and relaxing break and we will see everyone in 2020!

Love, Miss Gandy
