A note regarding information about our Christmas Concert next Tuesday!

Happy Wonderful Wednesday!
This morning we found that Sparkles took a pencil and was sitting inside our sharp pencil container. Maybe she was the one who sharpened all our pencils yesterday!

Math: Today we practiced some double-digit addition together as a class on the board. Next students had to use their own strategies to find the sums of one-and two-digit number. Then, they had to find related sums and look for different patterns.

Library: Today we visited Ms. Hayward at the library. We were able to listen to a story and sign out some books to take home. Please return them before the Christmas break begins.

French: No French today

Inquiry into Language: Together as a class we reviewed the components of a journal. We went over that a journal must include a date, title, opening sentence, sentence starters and a closing sentence. Students wrote their first journal on their own about ‘What they would do if they visited the North Pole’. We brainstormed our ideas on the board and put our ideas in order before we started writing.

Christmas Concert: Today we went to Oakwood’s Christmas Concert called ‘Winter Wonderland’. They did such a great job and we were so happy that we made it out to support them like they always support us. Way to go to all the teachers and students! It was a great performance
