We will be filling two boxes – one for a boy aged 5-9 and one for a girl aged 5-9. All donations must be brought in by Monday, November 18th in order to be able to send them off for shipping. A letter will be sent home with more information and a list of 100 shoebox items. I will be covering the costs for shipping. I thank you in advance.
Happy Science Fair Thursday!
Today it was science fair judging day! I am so proud of all their hard work. We can’t wait for our parents to come and see what we have been working on!
Math: Today we reviewed quarter to, quarter past and half past. Students were given mini clocks and had to show the given times accordingly. Next they had to add 15-minute intervals to that time. After, students were given different amount of coins and had to count the total of coins together. Then we practiced on the board showing different amounts to $1.00. They were asked to show different amounts using the least amount of coins ad then other ways to get that amount.
Christmas Concert Dance: Today students practiced their Christmas concert song; we also learned the dance moves that will go along with our performance!! I have sent home lyrics to our Christmas song so they are able to practice at home!
