Thursday, October 10th
Math: Today students will learn about even and odd numbers! They will go over my favourite anchor chart called Even Steven and Odd Todd. They will have to colour the even numbers from 50 to 68 red and the odd numbers from 19-37 blue. They will learn that to determine weather a double-digit number is even or odd you need to look in the ones place value. For example 93- the number 3 is an odd number so it makes the whole number 93 odd.
Language: Students will write their weekly spelling test. Please sign and return for Tuesday!
UOI: Today students will present their family portrait, discussing the members in their family, what responsibilities they have and why their family is special to them!
Agenda: Thursday agenda note
1. Spelling test signed
2. International day research due October 15th- please bring your research on Tuesday
3. PD Day Friday
4. Thanksgiving Math package: do what you can! Please don’t complete everything, as I know it is a time to be with family.
5. Read 15 minutes
Thank you everyone, have a wonderful week and Thanksgiving with family and friends! I will see everyone on Tuesday!
Love,
