Happy Magnificent Monday!
I hope everyone had a lovely weekend!
I am looking forward to our first full week of school :)

Language: Today students wrote out their spelling words for the week. They have been placed inside their agendas for them to practice for the spelling test throughout the week. Students then independently worked in their spelling workout books identifying words that begin and end with s, t and b.

Gym:Please see Ms. V’s blog at https://msvphysed.blogspot.com

Math: Today we reviewed the term Venn diagram. We went over that a Venn diagram helps us organize and sort information between two or three sets of items. Students had to sort people into the correct places on the Venn diagram. After, students worked together to create their own Venn diagram. Each table was given a plastic bag filled with red shapes, triangles and a red triangle. Students had to work together to identify the similarities and differences on their own and sort them accordingly. I was so proud to see every table sorted their shapes correctly without any clues from the teacher!

Music: Please see Mrs. McMillian’s blog at http://mllehousja.blogspot.com

French: Please see Mlle. Jessica’s blog athttp://mllehousja.blogspot.com

Agenda: Students were sent home with their agenda, every day they will write out the important dates and homework inside it. Parents are being asked to check agendas nightly and sign off beside my initials.
