Day 3
Happy Fantastic Friday!
House Games: Today we started the day with some very FUN house games!!
Math: Today students were introduced to the term Venn diagram. We discussed that a Venn diagram helps us organize and sort information between two or three sets of items. After students worked in their math books identifying similarities and differences between different pieces of clothing.
Inquiry into Language:Today students were introduced to our first learner profile of the month, inquirer. Being an inquirer is someone who loves discovering new things, loves to asks a lot of different questions and is very curious. We read the story ‘Curious George’ and brainstormed ways he showed being an inquirer. After the book students wrote down their ideas about what being an inquirer means to them.
French: We started the day with Mlle. Jessica. Please see her blog at http://mllehousja.blogspot.com
