Someone lost a tooth today! She is so excited for the tooth fairy!

Inquiry into Language: Today students wrote their weekly spelling test! Please sign and return on Monday. Today students also learned about exciting sentences, which is a sentence that shows surprise or strong feeling. It begins with a capital letter and ends with an exclamation mark.

Unit of Inquiry: Today we finished our special someone presentations!

We spent the rest of the day dancing away at the DANCE PARTY! I saw some amazing dance moves from everyone!

After we had our last assembly for our fall fundraiser! We got to pie FOUR lucky teachers in the face. I was even lucky enough to get Mr. Foster with a pie!!!

What is Action?

Many people think that action is easy to define. It is something you do right? But action is much more than that. Action is a part of who we are. If we want to change the world we need to start with changing ourselves. But sometimes change is hard. How do we make changes to the way we think so we can help the world? If we want children to make a difference in the world we need to help them personalize the action they take, and understand that it is not just a mandate from their teachers and parents, but a life long mindset they develop. Taking action can happen at any age. Support children and youth as they begin the learning journey towards becoming adults that are change agents! I’d love to hear about the action your child takes part in at home and in the greater community. Please send me a quick email or agenda note to let me know so we can celebrate together.
