French: We started the day with Mlle. Jessica. Please see her blog at http://mllehousja.blogspot.com

Music: Next we had a music lesson with Mrs. Mcmillan. Please see her blog at https://mrsmcmillanmusic.blogspot.com

Math: Today students reviewed finding the line of symmetry and mirroring an image based on the line of symmetry. Then students worked in partners and chose a number on a 100-chart and wrote directions for others to find that specific number. It was great to see such wonderful teamwork!
Inquiry into Language: Today students wrote a letter to Ms.Yustin about what sport they think is the best sport (soccer, basketball, tennis, hockey, gymnastics). Students brainstormed their ideas using a graphic organizer and then wrote out their letter. Students were reminded to give detailed reasons for their opinion. They needed to include all the components of letter writing such as date, opening, body, signature and closing.
Agenda:
Math test Friday

Track and field Thursday- please wear gym uniform and bring sunscreen
Read 15 minutes/ comprehension
Please bring back any library books

Unit of Inquiry:Today we finished our desert pictures! After we finished we watched a video that talked about the different animals and plants we find in the ocean. Then as a class we came up with a list of each one. Then students had to choose 6 of each to copy onto their sheet. Tomorrow we will draw the ocean including the appropriate animals and plants that belong there.

Have a wonderful evening,

Love,
Miss Gandy
