Happy Wonderful Wednesday!

French: We started the day with Mlle. Jessica. Please see her blog at http://mllehousja.blogspot.com

Music:Next we had a music lesson with Mrs. Mcmillan. Please see her blog at https://mrsmcmillanmusic.blogspot.com

Math:Today students were introduced to the term area. We learned that area is the amount of space inside a shape or object. We went over why people use area as a form of measurement. For example, area can measure how many tiles will fit on a floor or how many cubes will fit on a wall. Today we found the area of different shapes by counting the square unites inside the shape. After we reviewed finding the perimeter (outside) of shapes.
Inquiry into Language: Today students wrote a letter about their opinion on receiving more homework. They first used a graphic organizer to organize their opinions and reasons. They were reminded to include the parts of a letter (heading, opening, body, closing and signature).
Gym: Please see Ms.Yustin’s blog at https://sjaayustin.blogspot.com
