Happy Wonderful Wednesday!
Someone lost a tooth today!
French: We started the day with Mlle. Jessica. Please see her blog at http://mllehousja.blogspot.com

Math: Today students were introduced to our new unit Linear Measurement, Perimeter and Area. We discussed as a class units of measurement such as centimetres and metres. We thought of different objects that could be measured using these standards of measurements. For example, we would measure a couch in metres and a book in centimetres. Then children worked in their books estimating and measuring 2 different objects using a paper clip, pencil and an eraser.

Music:Next we had a music lesson with Mrs. Mcmillan. Please see her blog at https://mrsmcmillanmusic.blogspot.com

Inquiry into Language: Today students finished their opinions for reasons graphic organizer. Then we used our opinions and reasons to write a letter to our class teacher about why we think we are ready to go to Grade 2. We were reminded to include the parts of a letter (heading, opening, body, closing and signature).

Gym: Please see Ms.Yustin’s blog at https://sjaayustin.blogspot.com
