Autism Awareness Day is Tuesday, April 2nd. For $2, students will be able to wear a blue shirt (only a blue shirt please) and casual pants to show their support. Students not wanting to participate are required to wear their full school uniform.
Spelling Bee packages and lists were sent home. Please use the list to study for the in-class competition. The Grade 1 in-class Spelling Bee will take place on Thursday, April 4th.
Arts Night lyrics have been placed inside the children agenda. Please continue to practice at home!

Today the caring awards were handed out in morning assembly. Congratulations to our winner from class Kai! You are always respectful and caring to others inside and outside the classroom.

Math:Today we reviewed addition and subtraction word problems. Students used place value mats to find the sum and checked their work using the column method.
Inquiry into Language:Today students wrote their weekly spelling test. Please sign and return them on Monday.

Unit of Inquiry: Today students learned the technique of dot art by painting in small distinct dots to create an image. We will continue working on these on Monday.
