Happy Terrific Tuesday!

We had some more fun in the snow today

French: We started the day with Mlle Jessica. Please see her blog at http://mllehousja.blogspot.com

Music: Next we had a music lesson with Mrs. Mcmillan. Please see her blog at https://mrsmcmillanmusic.blogspot.com

Math: Today students wrote a pre-assessment for our new unit. Please do not panic this is not for a mark but rather to see where we need to go in their learning. After we reviewed the term probability. We went over words such as likely and unlikely, using them in different situations. We then drew two spinners on the white board and went through our chances of landing on a specific letter.

Gym: Please see Ms.Yustin’s blog at https://sjaayustin.blogspot.com

Inquiry into Language: Today students wrote a journal about being a snowman for a day. They were reminded to include punctuation, detailed sentences, sentence starts such as first, then, next, after and lastly. After they were finished they were given the chance to read out their journal to a partner.

Thank you to my teacher helper Kai; you are always such a great help!

Have a wonderful evening, Please continue to work on the book retell with your child. Reminder it needs to be 3-5 minutes.
