Happy Wonderful Wednesday!

French: We started the day with Mlle Jessica. Please see her blog at http://mllehousja.blogspot.com

Math: Today in math we collected data and put that data on a bar graph. They labeled the graph with a title and what each axis represents. They also answered questions about the information they collected.
Reading Buddies: Today we had a visit from our reading buddies!

Gym: Please see Ms.Yustin’s blog at https://sjaayustin.blogspot.com

Inquiry into Language:Today students worked on their book retell presentation. If children had completed writing out their beginning, middle and end using the template given, they were to practice with a partner. First, I asked them to read it aloud to themselves and then read it to a partner. Then they were to give their partner two stars and a wish; two things they loved about it and one thing to work on before the competition.
Agenda:
Book retell Presentation- start memorizing
Spelling test Friday
Spelling sentences due Friday- detailed sentences
Read 15 minutes
Market tomorrow and Friday
Jump rope for heart fundraising
Re-registration form returned by February 11th****

Unit of Inquiry:Today we finalized everything for our market tomorrow! We set up the classroom and organized all our signs and labels for the tables. After we went over the jobs that we will be responsible for during the day. To finish the day we set up our tables for the market (we were so busy we forgot to take photos)

Thank you to my teacher helper Sianna; you are always such a great help!

Have a wonderful evening, Please continue to work on the book retell with your child. Reminder it needs to be 3-5 minutes.
