Unit of Inquiry: Students put their knowledge of fossils to the test. As a class we reviewed what a fossil is, where fossils are found, and how are they formed. We then reviewed the name of the person who is responsible for digging up fossils. We remembered that they are called palaeontologists!
Then students had a chance to be their own paleontologist by digging out fossils from a rock.
Next children had to reassemble fossil bones of a dinosaur to make the dinosaur whole again. This was the final product!
Miss Gandy brought in her own dinosaur egg to hatch in the classroom, we cannot wait to see what happens tomorrow.
Thank you to my teacher helper Omar, you were such a great help!

Have a wonderful evening,
Miss Gandy J
