Happy Wonderful Wednesday!
This morning Joy was hanging on the top of our Christmas tree acting as our star!

French: We started the day with Mlle Jessica. Please see her blog at http://mllehousja.blogspot.com

Math:Today students reviewed double-digit addition with carrying. We reviewed the ones and tens place value. Next, students had to add up different animals groups and figure out how many animals they were altogether. If children felt confident they moved on to adding independently.

Music: Next we had a music lesson with Mr. Flower. Please see his blog at http://flowermusicsja.blogspot.com

Agenda:

Inquiry into Language: Today students started their first entry for their journal about being stuck in a snow globe. We brainstormed ideas today and tomorrow we will write our good copy. We reviewed that a journal should have…
- Introduction sentence
- Sentence starters: first, then, next and lastly
- Detailed sentences
- Proper punctuation

Unit of Inquiry: Today students organized their own closet. Before we started drawing pictures of our clothing we thought about how we could organize it to make it neat and tidy and easy to find things.

Thank you to my teacher helper Omar; you are always such a great help!

Have a wonderful evening, Miss Gandy J
