Parent Guild is hosting a Christmas Skate at Meadowvale 4-Rinks on Thursday, December 20th, from 3:30-5:30 PM. The cost is $10/student, but free for parents. Hot chocolate will be served and the big guy will be in attendance for pictures. What a fun way to start the holidays. Order forms have been sent home and the deadline to return them is Monday, December 10th

Ms. Hayward is holding her ‘Pinkalicious’ Ornament Contest again this year. Please see the flyer below for more information.

Happy Wonderful Friday! 
This morning Joy brought in a new Christmas book for our library! We can’t wait to read it closer to Christmas break. 

French: We started the day with Mlle Jessica. Please see her blog at http://mllehousja.blogspot.com

Math:Today students used different strategies to add three numbers. We went over doubles and the finding ten strategy to help us add all three numbers together. After we finished, we worked on our addition with carrying on the board and children answered some addition questions independently.

Daily 5:For daily 5 today we had 15 minutes of silent reading and Miss Gandy came around and listened to some readers. Next we practiced our routine for the Christmas concert.

Inquiry into Language: Students wrote their weekly spelling test. 

Unit of Inquiry: Today students earned free time for fun Friday! They were able to play hangman, colour or work in their cursive book! After we were called to rehearse for our Christmas performance!
