Unit of Inquiry:  Today students learned about the inventor Thomas Edison and his invention of the light bulb. We brainstormed together as a class how the world would be a different place if we didn’t have the light bulb. For example, we would have to use candles to light up rooms in the house. These can be very dangerous as it is a risk for a fire. Then we watched a video clip on Thomas Edison

Next, children answered comprehension questions about Thomas Edison and the light bulb.
Have a wonderful evening,

Love, Miss Gandy
