SJA Summer Camp
With summer around the corner, what better way for your children to spend the summer but here at SJA! SJA summer camp registrations were sent home earlier this year. We are offering 7 weeks of summer fun with a minimum of 3 excursions per week. There is lunch and snack options and before and after care available. Register before it is too late! Math: Today students reviewed the terms capacity and mass and their meaning. We practiced measuring different items using a balancing scale and filling containers TO capacity, OVER capacity and UNDER capacity. Please send the completed math review with your child tomorrow, as we will be going over it before our test on Friday!

Inquiry into Language:Today students wrote a journal entry reflecting on their trip to the African Lion Safari. Students had to recall the different things we did yesterday and put the events is logical order. Students needed to include all the components of journal writing such as date, title, opening sentence, sentence starters and concluding sentence! 

Unit of Inquiry:Today students presented their animal and habitat dioramas.
