Ms. Hughes would be happy to answer any questions you may have. She can be reached at bsmith@stjudesacademy.co

Happy Magnificent Monday!
We started the day with our learner profile ceremony. This past month we have been learning to be principled. I am principled when I show integrity, honesty, fairness and respect for others! Congratulations to our winner Zayn!

Inquiry into Language:Today students wrote a letter to our SK friends coming into grade 1 this September. We brainstormed ideas as a class about what advice we could give them in order to be successful and enjoy grade 1. We thought of ideas such as trying our best in cursive, listening to the teacher and raising our hand when we have something to say. They included all the components of letter writing such as date, greeting, body, closing and signature.

Unit of Inquiry:Today students practiced their summative presentations for 10 minutes. Once they felt confident and ready we started our presentations. We reminded each other how to be a good audience member and presenter. We only managed to get through 4 of them today, so the remaining projects will be presented on June 5th

Have a wonderful evening,

Love,
Miss Gandy
