Donate to people who are homeless
We are doing a project called Exhibition where we choose a topic we are interested in and want to research more about in order to make a positive difference in our world. We chose the topic of homelessness because we do not want anyone to be without their basic needs. Every person has the right to have a home and food to eat and clothing to wear. We are collecting donations so that we can donate them to Angela’s Place, a homeless shelter right here in Mississauga. You can donate:
- Non perishable food
- Clothing (for all ages such as Pants, shirts, hats ,shoes and more)
- Toiletries (mouthwash, feminine products, toothpaste, toothbrush, and deodorant)
- Seasonal clothing
- Baby formula
- Diapers
- Baby products
Arts Night lyrics have been placed inside the children’s agenda. Please continue to practice at home!
Happy Wonderful Wednesday!
French: We started the day with Mlle. Jessica. Please see her blog at http://mllehousja.blogspot.com
Math:Today students learned about perimeter, which is the distance around something. We measured the distance of each side of the picture frame and found the perimeter by adding all the lengths up. Then children measured the distance around a rectangle, which was drawn by their partner!
Reading Buddies:Today we had a visit from our reading buddies!
Inquiry into Language:Today as a class we brainstormed different foods that we would like to be served during lunch.
