Then the students had to decide whether they would use the centimeter or the metre to measure different objects. For example, would we use metres or centimetres to measure the length of a skipping rope?

Unit of Inquiry:Today students learned about ‘Day of The Dead Day’. This is a tradition originated in Mexico where families come together to celebrate and remember their ancestors and loved ones who have passed away. They are remembered through different forms of art pieces such as a sugar skull. We learned that skulls are seen as a positive symbol of rebirth. Together, as a class we watched a video about what Day of The Dead Day is and how individuals express themselves during this festival.
Thank you to my teacher helper, you are always such as great help!!
Love,
Miss Gandy
