Happy Terrific Tuesday!
Book Retell Presentations:Today we finished the last few book retell presentations! I am very PROUD to announce the two students chosen from my class are Omar and Nimrata. We cannot wait to support them this coming Thursday!
Daily 5: Students had time to work on their cursive books while I worked on some phonic and reading activities. After, we were very lucky to have Kai bring in a book for Chinese New Year! Kai was able to tell us some really important facts about Chinese New Year and how he celebrates it with his family!

Unit of Inquiry:Today we started to learn about inventions that have been created over time. We had to sort these different inventions into past and present. We talked about the sewing machine and examined how it looked liked in the past compared to how it does today.
Book Fair:At the end of the day we went to the Book Fair. Today we were lucky enough to purchase some of the books we shopped around for yesterday. It was so nice to see how excited the children were. Tomorrow the children are able to dress up in an enchanted costume (creatures, characters, forest animals, fairy tales etc.)
Have a wonderful evening
Love,
Miss Gandy
