Re-registrations packages have been sent home. All completed forms are due back no later than February 11th, 2019, in order to save your spots.
A note from Melissa: Just a friendly reminder that re-registration packages are due by Monday, February 11. After this time, spots will be opened up to the public and your child will not be guaranteed a space for next year. We look forward to seeing you back for next year!

March Break Camp at SJA: Sign up to reserve your spot
Jump Rope for Heart –It is that time again! We will be participating in Jump Rope for Heart on Thursday, February 14th. Donation packages have been sent home. You can make a pledge using cash or you can donate on the website - jumpropeforheart.ca. House points will be rewarded to each student who brings in donations. If we meet our school goal of $2500, students will be rewarded with a fun activity. Let’s see what we can do SJA!
A note regarding speeches – Due to our growing population at SJA, this year speeches will be split into two days. On Thursday, February 7th, JK-Grade 2 will recite their poems and stories and on Friday, February 8th, Grade 4-8 will recite their speeches

Book Retell: Today we presented our speeches for the majority of the day. I am very proud of everyone, public speaking is not an easy thing and I was very impressed with all the Grade 1 classes.
Inquiry into Language: Today students learned their spelling words for the week and worked through the spelling workout book.

Book Fair:At the end of the day we went to the Book Fair. Today was our turn to browse and see different books that we would like to purchase. Children went home with a wish list that they will be able to buy from throughout the week.
We made a class wish list of books that we would love and appreciate parents to purchase for our classroom!
