Happy Wonderful CHRISTMAS FRIDAY!

This morning we found Joy resting in our reading corner! She brought us gifts all he way from the North Pole because she was so impressed with our behaviour the past few weeks!

We finished our door just in time for the judges to walk around and start looking! Unfortunately we did not win but many people were very impressed with ours! Way to go everyone

Math:Today we completed a fun activity where we had to solve subtraction questions and decode the secret messages!

For the rest of the day we made a wreath Christmas craft to take home! We listened to Christmas music and enjoyed our afternoon

At the end of the day we went and played a house game. They were very intense games and I was impressed with everyone who took part.

What is Action?

Many people think that action is easy to define. It is something you do right? But action is much more than that. Action is a part of who we are. If we want to change the world we need to start with changing ourselves. But sometimes change is hard. How do we make changes to the way we think so we can help the world? If we want children to make a difference in the world we need to help them personalize the action they take, and understand that it is not just a mandate from their teachers and parents, but a life long mindset they develop. Taking action can happen at any age. Support children and youth as they begin the learning journey towards becoming adults that are change agents! I’d love to hear about the action your child takes part in at home and in the greater community. Please send me a quick email or agenda note to let me know so we can celebrate together.
