A note from the Librarian:

 Happy Tuesday!

Math:Today in math children reviewed time. We discussed the similarities and differences between an analogue and digital clock. Miss Gandy drew a picture of a clock on the board and we had to tell her the different times. After we worked in our workbook recalling times to the quarter hour and record the times on both the digital and analogue clock.

Gym: Please see Ms.Yustin’s blog at https://sjaayustin.blogspot.com

Inquiry into Language: This month we are learning how to be ‘Thinkers’. As a class we discussed what it means to be thinkers through think, pair and share. There were many good ideas! When we are thinkers we use our creating and imagination to consider problems, make appropriate decisions and take a positive action.
We read a book called ‘Ferdinand’ and thought about how he was a thinker in the story. Ferdinand showed that he was a thinker in many different ways by using his imagination and thinking about how to make him happy and how to make good decisions.
After we read the book we thought about what being a thinker means to us and how we can be a thinker everyday!
