Day 26
Happy FRIYAY!
Math:Today in math children focused on using a 100 chart independently. Students had to fill in the missing numbers of a 100 chart in their workbooks. Then they had to write their own numbers down and have a partner fill in the missing numbers.
After students finished I gave them all a blank 100 chart where they had to fill in all the numbers from 1-100. If children were confident, on whiteboards I had them practicing how to spell different numbers.

After gym we had our daily mediation for 5-minutes!
Inquiry into Language: Children wrote their weekly spelling sentences. After they finished they had 10 minutes of free reading in the reading corner.
Daily 5: This month we are learning all about our learner profile knowledgeable. Today we had a discussion about what it means to be knowledgeable and how we can be knowledgeable every day.
Then we read the book ‘Officer Buckle and Gloria’ and discussed all the different ways Officer Buckle and Gloria were knowledgeable. Officer Buckle learnt so many different rules to keep other people safe and shared them with the students so they could become knowledgeable on how to be safe.
After we wrote and illustrated different ways we are knowledgeable.

Unit of Inquiry: To finish our Friday, we had our last few summative projects to present. We had a different adaptation to the game snakes and ladders and the children loved it!
