On Friday, May 3rd, each Exhibition group will have a chance to present their project and show off all of their hard work. Some of the topics covered this year are homelessness, deforestation, stress, elder abuse and climate change. We will have the opportunity to view the projects on May 3rd from 12:00-2:00 PM. There will also be an evening viewing for all to attend. The showing will run from 6:00-8:00 PM. Please see flyer below for more information.

Information regarding Art’s Night:

Happy Terrific Tuesday!
House Game: Today we had a house game that was organized by some of the grade 6’s as part of their action for their exhibition project. Students had a balloon tied around their ankle and other students had to try and stomp on the other balloons to pop them. They gave a presentation about vaccinations and how the balloons represented a vaccine. They protected the people who had balloons but if they didn’t have a balloon, they were infected. They talked about how vaccines are very important so we don’t spread contagious diseases. Well done!!
Unit of Inquiry:French was cancelled again today, so we continued working on our cultural dolls. They are coming along very nicely and we are very proud of them!

Arts Night Performance:Today we had time to work with Mrs. McMillian for our arts night performance. A friendly reminder to continue to practice at home with your child as arts night is quickly approaching!

Math:Today students reviewed calculating the area and perimeter of different shapes. We will continue reviewing so students are ready for their math test on Thursday!
